[ For a moment, Aether almost thinks that he should put on some tea for Alhaitham, go about the mechanical duties of a host towards their guest — but then Alhaitham simply reaches his hands out, and the traveler almost has to stifle a laugh. He just looks so cute like that. Does Haitham know, really, just how cute he is in general? He's such a big, strong man by all outward appearances — but looking like that, with soft expectant eyes and outstretched arms — for a moment, Aether finds it hard not to pull him in for a kiss and several reassuring hugs. ]

Smiling, Aether steps calmly into Alhaitham's embrace, and wraps his arms around the man's shoulders in turn, content to be wrapped up and lifted into the man's lap. ]
